Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Must be available for 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days every 6 weeks, with holidays as needed. No call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department, with preference given to candidates with previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience. The RN must possess strong clinical skills, including procedural sedation, management of ventilated patients, and blood product administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
• Manage care for patients with a variety of conditions, including trauma and cardiac emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in triaging patients and managing patient flow in the department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department.
• Current RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system is required.
