Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 12-hour shifts per week with 2 weekends required in a 4-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families. Responsibilities will include collaborating with team members to create and implement patient care plans, conducting bedside shift reports, and ensuring excellent patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Neuro Med/Surg unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, including involving them in care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• BLS certification.
• Med/Surg experience with ability to multitask and prioritize care.
• Skills in starting IVs, basic wound care, and maintenance of various medical devices such as chest tubes and nasogastric tubes.
