Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, managing medications and therapies, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage patient care plans for cardiac patients.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status using advanced cardiac monitoring equipment.
• Perform procedures such as chest tube management and EKGs as required.
• Engage in bedside and hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
• Documentation of telemetry application, rhythm strips, and nursing interventions in the medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required; advanced cardiac knowledge preferred.
• Experience with cardiac medications including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone.
