Registered Nurse - CVOR (Per Diem)

Dayshift, 12-hour shifts (06:30 AM - 06:30 PM)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in surgical settings. This position is per diem, requiring a commitment of at least 3 shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination.
• Minimum fit test for respiratory protection (optional).
