X-ray Technician

Schedule

Shift: 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM from July 3rd to July 5th.

Job Description

The X-ray Technician will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and maintaining high standards of care for patients. The technician will work under the supervision of qualified personnel, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray imaging procedures as per physician orders.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging processes.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Record patient history and pertinent information for imaging studies.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active licensure and verification for X-ray technology.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Must obtain EDAP I & II or ENPC certifications within 60 days for the emergency department role.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or declination required.
• Complete drug screening and background check.
