Infusion Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts: 4x10 hours (08:00 - 18:00). Weekend coverage may be required.

Job Description

The Infusion Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring outpatient infusion therapy. The nurse will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications including antibiotics, antivirals, and biologic/immunotherapy agents.
• Manage and care for central lines and implanted ports.
• Perform blood draws and blood product administration.
• Provide hydration and multivitamin therapy.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage any adverse reactions during treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active California state RN license required (no pending applications accepted).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient infusion setting.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• PICC line care and vascular access certification preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is a plus.
