MRI Technologist

Schedule

This position requires working 4 evening shifts of 10 hours each per week, totaling 40 hours.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans and ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This role requires expertise in working with Siemens MRI machines, specifically the 1.5T and 3T models such as Aera, Sola, Skyra, and Vida.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI machines to obtain diagnostic images as per physician guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Follow protocols for clean and efficient procedures.
• Maintain patient records and document scan results accurately.
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment (1.5T and 3T).
• ARRT or AMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
