Medical-Surgical RN - Night Shift

4x12-Hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:00), with weekdays and weekends included.

Job Description

Join our team as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) providing high-quality care to acute medical-surgical patients. This fast-paced environment requires adaptability and clinical expertise, making a significant impact on patient outcomes. Our nursing staff works collaboratively to ensure safe and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support for complex medical conditions.
• Manage and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize care plans.
• Perform essential nursing procedures and documentation using Cerner EMR.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health maintenance strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) License required (West Virginia or Compact License).
• 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing required.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS must be current and include proof at the time of submission.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is essential.
