This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

ROTATION - 12HR: 3P-3A / 7P-7A rotation. 36 hours per week. Weekend requirement: One weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our experienced and collaborative team in a large, high-acuity Emergency Department featuring 80 treatment spaces in a modern environment. We pride ourselves on high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency care as the area's first ACEP accredited geriatric ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.
• Participate in continuous learning and development in emergency care practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience.
• Must possess a valid NY RN license.
• Current certifications: NIH Stroke Scale, AHA BLS.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
