Will work 3x12-hour shifts, days, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM with rotating weekends and holiday rotation.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for the Operating Room in a busy Level I trauma center. The Main Operating Room consists of 21 OR suites, covering various surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, and Robotics. Applicants should be prepared to assist with a wide variety of surgical cases and must demonstrate strong surgical support capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures within the operating room
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields during surgeries
• Coordinate with the nursing staff and surgeons to ensure optimal patient care
• Be ready to float between similar units as required by facility needs

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience, particularly in Neurosurgery, ENT, and Robotics
• Current CST certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS certification
• Must possess a radiation badge provided by the agency
• South Carolina RN license preferred, or proof of application
