NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), with every third weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level III NICU and be proficient in managing preterm infants as low as 22-23 weeks gestation. In this role, you will be expected to attend deliveries for preterm or high-risk patients and manage respiratory support equipment including HFNC, BCPAP, and various ventilation types. The NICU environment requires strong clinical skills, ability to handle critical emergencies, and proficiency in advanced neonatal care practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates and infants in a Level III NICU setting.
• Manage and monitor respiratory support for patients.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and respond to emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Services and Social Services.
• Educate families on infant care and developmental needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level III NICU.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
