Interventional Radiology Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. No weekends, holidays, or call required.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring the highest levels of patient care and safety. The candidate will work closely with clinical staff to assess patient needs and facilitate treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional radiologic procedures including angiography, stent placement, and drainage procedures.
• Ensure proper setup and maintenance of equipment for procedures.
• Administer patient care and support throughout procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory and manage supplies needed for radiology interventions.
• Document all patient procedures, care provided, and other relevant information in electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Current certifications: ARRT(R), ARRT(VI), and BLS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required with exemptions allowed.
