Acute Care Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:00). Weekend shifts are required and fluctuating.

Job Description

The Acute Care Physical Therapist will provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in a short-term acute care setting. This position requires flexibility, as the therapist will float between units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions that address various physical conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and care strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care or relevant setting.
• Active Physical Therapist license.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is required.
