This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7p - 7:30a), 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. Note: The facility can cancel 1 shift.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the ICU will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conducting patient assessments and monitoring vital signs.
• Administering medications and managing intravenous therapy.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals on patient treatment plans.
• Educating patients and families on health management and care plans.
• Responding to emergency situations with appropriate interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent ICU experience within the last 12 months (required).
• Current RN Nevada License (required).
• BLS and ACLS certifications from approved vendors (required).
• Clean state license with no violations (required).
• Driver's license for residency verification (required).
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
