This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mon 7am-5pm; Tue 7am-3:30pm; Wed 7am-5pm; Thur 7am-3:30pm; Friday 7am-12pm. Position provides 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patient’s needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring designs of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Complete clear, concise, accurate, and timely medical record documentation.
• Participate in educational programs by providing a positive learning environment for students.
• Create an individualized professional development plan and actively pursue growth through continuing education.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Demonstrate compliance with organizational protocols concerning patient and employee safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Maintains an active and applicable state license.
