Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CVICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The unit specializes in post-operative cardiac surgery care, handling high volumes of advanced cardiac surgeries with dedicated intensivist support.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including those on ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADs.
• Perform critical procedures such as central line insertion, Swan-Ganz catheter insertion, and intubations.
• Continuous hemodynamic monitoring of patients.
• Assist in the management and monitoring of devices like IABP and Impella.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong critical care experience, particularly in CVICU.
• Advanced skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• 2 weekends/month commitment and participation in summer and winter holidays as indicated.
