Schedule
Day shift, 3 days a week, 12-hour shifts. Every 3rd weekend required.

Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by following the nursing care plan. The RN plays a key role in supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, forming the basis of an individualized care plan.
- Identify patient/family education goals and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in the rehabilitation program, providing direct patient care using the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
- Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
- Communicate significant changes in patient status among care providers to support continuity and safety.
- Supervise and direct ancillary nursing personnel effectively.
- Maintain an environment conducive to safety in accordance with hospital policies.
- Engage in team-building activities to enhance unit functioning.
- Contribute to supply and equipment management for optimal patient care.
- Pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- BLS Certification is required prior to the first shift.
- ACLS Certification is required prior to the first shift (for specific locations).
- A minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is required.
