3x12-Hour Day Shift (07:00 - 19:00) with every other weekend floating required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a medical-surgical unit, primarily focused on adult and geriatric patients. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:6-7, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a telemetry environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes
• Manage telemetry monitoring and respond to emergent situations
• Provide patient and family education regarding care and treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop care plans
• Document patient interactions and care provided accurately in the charting system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Current PA RN license required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Experience with the Cerner charting system is preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred
