Registered Nurse - Stepdown Nights (3x12-Hour)

This is a night shift position, working 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00. Weekend availability is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Stepdown Unit for night shifts. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of nursing experience in similar settings and hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications at the time of submission. This role involves caring for patients recovering from critical illnesses and providing essential nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patients' responses to treatments.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and document care in the Epic charting system.
• Manage complex patient needs, including telemetry monitoring and invasive procedures.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families about health management and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum one year of nursing experience required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications needed at the time of submission.
• Valid OK or Compact RN license required.
