Travel MS/Tele Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, working three 12-hour shifts, with six weekend shifts required over a six-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the MS/Tele department.
• Utilize the Nursing Process effectively to assess and manage patient care.
• Float between various departments as needed.
• Supervise and direct personnel delivering patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies and participate in continuing education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Arizona RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MS/Telemetry nursing
• Cerner EMR experience is required
