Travel ICU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) with alternating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team on a travel contract. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing critical care, effectively communicating with healthcare teams, and delivering compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patient status and assess changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
• Experience with Cerner EMR.
• Active RN license with permanent address 50+ miles from the facility.
