This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday and Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM; Tuesday and Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to patients' needs and goals. The therapist will provide functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities, serving as an educator to patients, families, and colleagues. Adherence to compliance standards, organizational values, and patient safety protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans focused on discharge goals.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner according to clinic policies.
• Ensure care is provided under signed physician orders and within insurance guidelines.
• Participate in the student program, providing supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in continuous professional development and education.
• Maintain licensure and adhere to relevant professional codes of conduct.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months of outpatient clinical experience.
• Active CPR certification.
• Current, applicable state licensure.
