CT Technologist Position

Schedule

Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST. On call for 2-3 shifts per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services. In this role, you will be responsible for confirming patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans, as well as coordinating with physicians to ensure quality diagnostic imaging is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures to ensure comfort.
• Insert IVs as necessary for tests.
• Position patients safely, utilizing safe patient handling techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC, ensuring correct documentation and image management post-exam.
• Ensure the scanning facility is clean and safe at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NYS registration required, with injection therapy certification at time of submission.
• Completion of formal training in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certification required.
• Two (2) years of experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Experience with Siemens and Philips equipment is preferred.
