Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in pelvic floor therapy and lymphedema, as well as orthopedic specialties. A willingness to learn new techniques is essential as our practice emphasizes manual correction methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adaptations during therapy sessions.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid PTA license in the state of Virginia.
• No prior experience is required, but knowledge of pelvic health, lymphedema, and manual therapy is preferred.
