Registered Nurse - Telemetry

This position requires working the night shift: 19:00 - 07:00.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Telemetry unit. Our ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to a range of cardiac patients including those experiencing chest pain, A-fib, and congestive heart failure. The RN will also assist with pre and post-care for cardiac catheterizations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions on the telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding cardiac health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Cerner EHR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry or cardiac nursing role.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo equipment is essential.
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR is preferred.
