Shift: 10:45 AM – 11:15 PM, every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our high-volume team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a busy emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, supporting high-quality patient outcomes.
• Assess and triage patients based on clinical urgency.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain patient safety and ensure adherence to hospital protocols.
• Support patients and families through education and emotional support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
• Previous experience in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and other certifications must be obtained prior to the start date.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to changing environments.
• Ability to provide real-time feedback and coaching to enhance team performance.
