CT/X-Ray Technologist

Schedule

Varied hours:

• Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday and Saturday: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

This position is for a CT/X-Ray Technologist, primarily requiring skills in CT. X-Ray experience is also essential. The technologist will perform a wide variety of technical procedures, demonstrating independent judgment and critical thinking to facilitate accurate diagnoses. Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications and maintaining patient confidentiality, while adhering to infection control policies and departmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.
• Ensure proper care of clients in accordance with departmental and hospital policies.
• Assume supervisory or instructional responsibilities for department personnel as assigned.
• Maintain competency through annual mandatory education, including training on infection control and blood-borne pathogens.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in various formats, including written and digital (Tiger Text).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience.
• Previous travel experience (minimum of 6 months).
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Must have a Massachusetts Radiology License.
• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography required.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
