Registered Nurse - NICU (Night Shift)

This is a night shift position, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill newborns, requiring advanced skills and competencies in neonatal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care for infants in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Utilize advanced life support techniques and equipment such as high-frequency oscillators and nitric oxide delivery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and provide immediate care for neonates.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid RN license in Washington, with NICU Level 3 experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a NICU setting.
• Experience with advanced ventilatory support modalities is required.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
