This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The shift for this position is 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM. Additional shift options may include:

• Overnight shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Thursday/Friday/Saturday
• Weekend shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday and Sunday, with a shift on Monday from 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
• Weekend shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday and Sunday, plus 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM on Friday

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with extensive Philips MR experience. The ideal candidate should have a background in Level 1 trauma hospitals and be committed to working as part of a productive team while adhering to safety protocols. This role requires expertise in a variety of imaging procedures, focusing on quality patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures on Philips MR 1.5T and 3T scanners.
• Assist in imaging protocols for various patient categories, including trauma and ICU patients.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in MRI imaging.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.

Required Experience / Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Extensive experience with Philips MRI systems, particularly the 1.5T scanner.
• ARRT certification in MRI and AMRIT certification.
• Level 1 trauma experience is preferred.
• No Maine State licensing is required for MRI.
