Speech Therapist (SLP) - 5x8 Days

Day shift, 5x8 hours from 07:00 - 15:30, with every third weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Speech Therapist (SLP) with a preference for those experienced in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) care. This role will require strong assessment and therapeutic skills, ensuring optimal patient outcomes for adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for adult rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders.
• Utilize augmentative communication devices and alternative communication strategies.
• Provide family education and support regarding patient care and communication strategies.
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and conduct modified barium swallow studies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

A minimum of 2 years of strong experience in a related field is preferred, with 3 years being ideal. Certification in BLS is required. Candidates should possess the necessary licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
