Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT)

Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Respiratory Care Director, the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT) provides essential services to all patients, particularly those with disorders of the cardiopulmonary system. This role involves performing diagnostic testing, delivering therapeutic support, monitoring, patient assessment, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Provide critical care and ventilator management with a focus on patient safety.
• Assess patient conditions and adjust respiratory care as needed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and devices.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient treatment plans.

Schedule

This position features a 12-hour shift schedule with hours from 6 AM to 6 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Critical care and ventilator management experience.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure required.
• Knowledge of respiratory care processes, procedures, and equipment.
• Familiarity with applicable rules and regulations of Federal and State regulatory agencies.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
