Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our CVICU team. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of critical care nursing, particularly in caring for intubated patients and managing vasoactive medications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to CVICU patients.
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from open-heart surgery.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to develop patient care plans.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Impella, IABP, ECMO, and ventilators.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience in CVICU is preferred.
• Ability to care for patients with titrating vasoactive medications.
• Knowledge in the care of intubated patients.
