Registered Nurse - Cardiac Specialty Unit

Night shift: 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15).

Job Description

Join our team in a 30-bed cardiac specialty unit. We are seeking experienced registered nurses to provide high-quality care during the overnight shift. Nurses will be responsible for managing a team of 6 patients with a focus on cardiac conditions, including the administration of specific cardiac medications and managing patient telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients in a cardiac specialty unit.
• Administering and managing non-titratable cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dobutamine, Milrinone, and Amiodarone.
• Monitoring telemetry and interpreting dysrhythmias.
• Providing patient education on medication management, including diuretics and anticoagulants.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and rapid response teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a cardiac or telemetry unit preferred.
• Must hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
