Schedule

Day shift 5x8-Hour with varying hours from Monday to Friday. Potential hours include 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, and 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM.

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammographic procedures on patients, under the supervision of a qualified healthcare provider. This role involves patient preparation, operation of mammography equipment, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of mammography procedures, including diagnostic and screening mammograms.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols in radiation protection.
• Prepare patients for mammography exams, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure quality patient care and outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is heavily preferred.
• Must provide evidence of MQSA qualifications, including 200 mammograms performed in the past 24 months and 15 continuing education credits in the last 36 months.
