MRI Technologist

Schedule

This position requires a PM shift with five 8-hour shifts per week, from Monday to Friday, specifically from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Job Description

This MRI Technologist role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in a Level 1 trauma hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort while acquiring high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams on Siemens 1.5T or 3T machines (Aera/Sola/Skyra/Vida).
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards of practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• Experience with Siemens MRI technology (1.5T or 3T).
• Graduation from an accredited Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification and BLS certification from AHA.
