Registered Nurse - Acute Pulmonary Unit

Shift: 12-hour nights (7 pm - 7 am), varies.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Pulmonary Unit. The nurse will provide care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The unit features all acute care private rooms with telemetry capability, ensuring high-quality, personalized patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty.
• Required: AHA BLS certification.
• Preferred: ACLS certification.
