Certified Surgical Technologist - Travel Position

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel position in the Operating Room. The surgical team works with a diverse range of surgical procedures, including total joints, spine interventions, and transplants. Candidates must be motivated, skilled, and ready to thrive in a competitive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical operations by preparing operating rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready.
• Maintain sterile conditions and follow protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Work with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure smooth procedures and optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient positioning and transferring during surgical procedures.
• Handle instruments and assist in the end of the procedure cleaning and sterilizing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital CST experience.
• Active NBSTA and DORA Certifications required.
• Transplant and spine surgical experience is highly preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR is a plus.
