Job Description

Join our team as a Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) where you will work primarily overnight in a dynamic and fast-paced surgical unit. You will play a crucial role in assisting with surgical procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures including the setup and operation of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries by providing instruments and supplies needed for procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies.
• Participate in the training and orientation of new staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• NBSTA and DORA certifications required prior to submission.
• Orthopedic and Joint experience is essential.
• Level I and Trauma experience preferred.
• Experience with Meditech is a plus.
