Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Part Time Nights

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care for residents in a long-term care setting. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in assisting residents with their daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, addressing call lights and alarms promptly.
• Deliver and assist with meal preparation and feeding according to residents’ preferences and care plans.
• Support residents in rehabilitative activities, including range of motion exercises and safe ambulation.
• Report any changes in resident status or concerns to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State Nursing Assistant Certification (NYS CNA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/RQI)
• Minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting.

Schedule

This position requires availability for part-time night shifts, including every other weekend. Full-shift orientation is mandatory on either a Tuesday or Thursday.
