8-hour day shifts, with a guarantee of 36 hours and an expectation to work up to 40 hours weekly.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will have an outpatient experience, ready to provide care for patients in an orthopedic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in appropriate settings as part of the rehabilitation team.
• Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress towards recovery goals.
• Assist in conducting evaluations and assessments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Manage a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, with 12-14 patients seen per day.
• Expect double-booking of follow-up visits as part of the workflow.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Outpatient experience preferred.
• New graduates are not accepted for this position.
