Registered Nurse - Night Shift (3x12 Full Time)

Schedule

Full Time - 3x12 Night Shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM) with holiday rotations and every other weekend required.

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts. The ideal candidate will be cross-trained for multiple units including Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Emergency Room (ER). This position requires experience in critical care and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in MedSurg, ICU, and ER settings.
• Float between various units as needed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and document changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in MedSurg, Telemetry, or Critical Care Units.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through American Heart Association or RQI system) and NIHSS.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
