Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30). Weekends required every other week.

Job Description

The role of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is essential in delivering high-quality respiratory care in a critical access facility. Responsibilities include providing advanced respiratory treatment, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and response to treatments.
• Assist with intubation and extubation procedures.
• Care for tracheostomy patients and manage ventilator settings.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory care and treatments.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and nursing staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Washington State RRT license required at the time of submission.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Trauma Level I & II experience preferred.
• Travel experience required.
