Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel RN specializing in Pre-Op care. The RN will work primarily in the Pre-Op Holding / ASU unit, focusing on providing the highest level of patient care during the pre-operative phase.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative assessments and preparations for patients scheduled for surgery.
• Monitor patient recovery in Phase 2 and assist with post-operative needs.
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical interventions as required.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and provide updates on patient status.
• Maintain accurate medical records using Meditech EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Prior Meditech experience is preferred.
