Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Schedule

Night Shift - 7 PM to 7 AM, 36 hours per week (3 12-hour shifts per week), every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide essential respiratory care services in various patient settings. This role requires expertise in performing blood gases, biPAP, and ventilator management. The therapist will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments based on physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and modify as necessary.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and other diagnostic tests.
• Assist in the management of ventilators and biPAP devices.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care and equipment usage.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Ohio license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Active BLS certification.
• Minimum of three years of acute care experience.
• Experience with blood gases, biPAP, and ventilators is essential.
