General Ultrasound Sonographer - Weekend Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Weekend nights: Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Holiday coverage required if the contract falls on a holiday. Flexibility to cover other open shifts as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team for weekend night shifts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in performing ultrasound procedures and will contribute to the high-quality care of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams and procedures according to protocols and standards.
• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of ultrasound exams performed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations in the performance of duties.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered or eligible for credentialing through the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography).
• Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Experience in the field of ultrasound preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
