Job Description

The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that provides support throughout the two campuses to ensure high-quality patient care in various adult health settings. The role requires the ability to float among multiple units, including Med Surg, PCU, and, occasionally, the ED or PACU, to accommodate patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult health patients across various units.
• Float between different health units as needed to support patient care.
• Administer medications and perform assessments in a high-acuity environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license without any state hits.
• ACLS certification from an approved vendor.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Driver's license for residency verification.
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred.
