Day shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Description

The Acute Care Physical Therapist will be responsible for delivering quality physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting. This role involves assessing patient needs, implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding ongoing care and rehabilitation strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in acute care.
• Current valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• BLS certification required.
