LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care.
• Plan and anticipate safe delivery of care to patients.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff experience and education.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in patient care activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 to 5 years of clinical experience required.
• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Must have a Missouri RN or multi-state RN license.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position, with a schedule from 07:00 to 19:30.
