Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts of 3x12 (06:30 - 19:00) or 4x10 days (07:00 - 17:30) with on-call requirements, including approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekend 24-hour shifts in a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will play a vital role in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The successful candidate will work closely with cardiologists, providing high-quality patient care while adhering to safety and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures in the interventional cardiac catheterization lab.
• Assist in the performance of diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient's vitals and comfort during procedures.
• Provide patient education on procedures and post-procedure care.
• Ensure a sterile environment throughout the procedure.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a cath lab setting is required.
• Current ARRT-R and/or RCIS certification is preferred; BLS and ACLS certifications are also required.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
