Catheter Laboratory / Interventional Radiology Technician

This position follows a 4x10-hour day schedule from 07:00 to 17:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Catheter Laboratory / Interventional Radiology Technician who has the ability to perform catheterization procedures and support interventional radiology operations. This role requires adherence to strict no-tobacco policies and proficiency in maintaining sterile environments during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of catheterization procedures, including elective diagnostics and interventions.
• Participate in the STEMI Call team, ensuring response within required timeframes.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist in keeping equipment and supplies organized.
• Provide support for interventional radiology cases, including the insertion of pacemakers and AICDs.
• Carry out on-call responsibilities approximately 7-10 days per month, with guaranteed 2-hour callback.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have valid ARRT certification and a state medical license, or demonstrate proficiency with RCIS certification and relevant experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in catheterization and interventional radiology.
• Strong background in angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and temporary pacemaker insertion.
